In 1977, the year of our inception, we started manufacturing bright annealing pots and furnaces under the name of Ravi Engg Works and we were the only manufacturing unit who had started at that time in India. In 1984, we started manufacturing annealed bare copper wires and changed our company’s name to RAVI INDUSTRIES in 1999. We, then, started manufacturing poly wrapped UNIFLEX brand submersible winding wire. Under the valuable guidance of our respected CEO Mr. Vinod Gupta, we are maintaining individual copper winding wire manufacturing units. We are equipped with a well established infrastructure which helps us to grow higher at a rapid pace and earn your satisfaction through premium products and the best services.

We are running our company as per ISO 9001 company rules. We have all testing facilities, equipments and testing criteria as per ISI specifications although we don’t have ISI mark on our products. Today, RAVI INDUSTRIES is empowered with an advanced manufacturing unit, highly modern, high performance testing equipments and a well stocked material warehouse for prompt deliveries. Combined with cutting edge technology, we are also equipped with a brilliant workforce comprising of skilled and experienced technocrats.

Our manufacturing unit is equipped with an in-built quality checking facility where our experts perform stringent quality checking at every level of manufacturing process, right from the procurement of raw materials to the final dispatch of finished products. We excel in the manufacture of copper wire, submersible winding wire and transformer winding wires under the brand name of UNIFLEX. UNIFLEX winding wires have outstanding electrical, mechanical thermal & chemical properties. These are quite sturdy, robust and miniaturized. These wires fulfill the requirements in a much better respect than the available standards. These winding wires can withstand water abrasion and frictional losses. Moreover, it saves space, size, cost and work in every type of typical conditions. In brief the details are as follows:

1. Tear resistant : The structure of insulation is oriented bi-axially. Propagation of tears is difficult. Uniaxial orientation makes it easy to tear the insulation along the axis of the wire.

2. Dielectric strength : The multiple layered construction of UNIFLEX insures high dielectric quality of insulation. Any flow is limited to a single layer of the tape. The wrapping process places the insulation concentrically around the conductor.

3. Higher cut through & abrasion resistant : UNIFLEX insulation is remarkably resistant to cut through and scrap abrasion. Thin cross sections of UNIFLEX varying between 0.15 to 0.25 mm thick endure greater cut through stress and general abuse than. 0.25 to 1.0 mm of insulation such as are found in PVC, nylon jacketed PVC etc.

4. Insulation resistance : It has remarkable constant & thousands time higher insulation resistance even at boiling point of water than PVC.

5. High tensile strength : UNIFLEX insulation adds significantly to the tensile strength of the insulated conductor through the mechanism of load transfer because the insulation has such a superior breaking strength. It will support the wire at each point where excessive stretching occurs. Wire insulates with conventional materials will break since there is no support from insulation.

6. Working temperature : For short periods, the ideal temperature of the manufacture of these wires is above 130 deg. c. and for continuous manufacturing; the temperature has to be maintained between -60 deg. c to +120 deg. c.

7. Higher flex life : The insulation is produced by bi-axially oriented synthetic film. It has a very high flex life in comparison to any other insulating materials.

8. Sizes : 0.4 mm to 3.00 mm.

We have a totally in-house production plant for UNIFLEX winding wires from rode breakdown to final winding wire wrapping plant.
